Anthony M. Wickersham was appointed Sheriff of Macomb County on January 1, 2011. He has been employed at the Sheriff’s Office for over 29 years. Sheriff Wickersham has an Associate Degree from Macomb County Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wayne State University. He is also a graduate of the 208th Session of the F.B.I. National Academy and of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command. He is committed to providing efficient and effective public safety for Macomb County residents and guests.
